At Report Bee, we use state-of-the-art infrastructure to host our website (www.reportbee.com). All our customer-schools depend on our website to store, maintain and retrieve sensitive information about their students. So, it is only logical for us to take maximum care of the infrastructure behind the website. We strive to provide uninterrupted access, day and night, 24/7. But there comes times when we would have major updates and enhancements to roll-out. Such major updates may require a few seconds of forced downtime. We typically schedule such roll-outs to happen late at night, on a Sunday, between 1 AM and 3 AM, to minimize any potential impact to users.
Considering our user base, which consists of school teachers, it would be reasonable to assume that there would be close to no users logged into our website at such unearthly hours. But imagine our surprise when we received a complaint from a user during a rare such update, when the downtime lasted for hardly a few seconds!
We feel immense pride when we see our creation becoming an indispensable part of a teacher’s
life. We are confident that we will soon be making a tangible difference to the life of every student by just intelligent and responsible use of his or her data.
